D-Ring Frame Hanger single hole brass max. 10kg (Qty 500)
D-ring hangers, a simple and commonly used hardware, are perfect for suspending framed artwork or mirrors. They consist of a small, D-shaped metal ring attached to a flat metal plate, which typically has one or two holes for screws. Using them is a straightforward process-you just need to screw the flat plate directly into the back, typically the side rails, of a wooden picture frame. For best results, consider fitting two D-ring hangers positioned on opposite sides near the top edge of the frame. Once secured, the D-shaped ring may extend slightly beyond the frame’s edge.

Why to use D-Rings
D-rings are much stronger than the small screw eyes or screw rings which should only be used for very light items, much more suitable for framed artwork which is other than small. As a rule of thumb, if the size of my framed artwork is about the size of an A4 piece of paper or bigger we would always recommend using D-rings.
