Also known as Swiss clips, these low-cost frames hold a sandwich of glass, a print, and a backing board together. To secure the clips, create 3mm holes in the backing board, precisely 27.5mm from the edge, using either a drill or a hole punch. Always remember to smooth the sharp edges of the glass—a Telum diamond abrasive pad works perfectly, or you can opt for styrene or acrylic glazing instead. To finish, insert a Ring & Clip Hanger through a hole in the backing board and flatten the clip. A small piece of tape over the clip helps prevent it from marking the image on the paper.
