Click Rail Hanging System
The Click Rail is a popular picture hanging system designed to display artwork and photos without damaging your walls. Mounted near the ceiling using a slim, discreet aluminum profile, this permanent wall rail allows you to easily hang, move, and rearrange your pictures anytime—no drilling or nails required after installation. Simply click the hanging wires into the rail track and adjust your hooks to set your frames at the perfect height in seconds.
Choosing the Artiteq Click Rail hanging system provides a professional, versatile way to display wall decor without the recurring damage of nails, screws, or adhesive strips. Once the slim rail is installed, you gain total freedom to rearrange, add, or swap artwork anytime—without leaving unsightly holes in your drywall or needing wall repairs. Designed with a minimalist aesthetic, the rail blends seamlessly into your room’s architecture. The Click Rail in primer white is also fully paintable to match your exact wall color for a clean, uninterrupted look.
The installation process for this picture rail system is simple and straightforward—which is exactly how it earned the name “Click Rail.” First, compact mounting clips (Click & Connect brackets) are screwed into the wall at measured intervals. Once secured, the aluminum rail is pressed onto the clips until it snaps, or “clicks,” firmly into place. This clever design conceals all mounting hardware inside the rail, creating a sleek, finished appearance with no visible screws.
Once your picture rail is installed, you never need tools, drills, or wall anchors to hang or rearrange your art. Using the system takes just three simple steps:
Insert the Hanging Wire: Push the top fitting of a hanging wire (such as an Artiteq Twister wire) into the bottom channel of the rail and give it a quarter-turn to lock it securely into place. Wires can be inserted or removed at any point along the track.
Attach the Adjustable Hook: Slide an adjustable picture hook (like a Micro Grip or Ratchet hook) onto the wire. You can easily adjust the hook up or down to set your frame at the exact height you want.
Hang Your Frame: Mount your picture frame onto the hook using its existing D-rings, picture wire, or saw-tooth hangers.
Because the wire slides horizontally anywhere along the rail and the hook adjusts vertically, you have total 2-D hanging freedom. You can easily add new art, swap out frames, or create gallery walls in minutes—all while keeping your walls 100% damage-free.
Rails/Tracks
The Click Rail is available in four colours and two lengths. Pure white is a very clean, bright, cool-toned white, offering a modern, flat, and crisp finish ideal for making spaces feel fresh and open. Classic white is often referred as off-white or traffic white. It is a popular, clean, slightly warm pale white often used because of its versatility on interior and exterior surfaces, woodwork, vehicles, and fibreglass. It offers a bright but not stark white that pairs well with many other colours.
Installation Brackets
Use three brackets per metre spaced out roughly 40cm apart. Standard grip for fairly even walls, extra grip for uneven walls. Please use extra grip brackets with caution. Unlike the standard grip brackets, the extra grip ones are very hard to unclick (to remove the rail). Standard grip installation brackets are usually included with the rail as they are required for installation. Screw and plug installation set is optional.
Twister Wires and Rods
Here are compatible perlon clear wires, steel wires, steel rods which can be connected anywhere along the rail.
Hexagon and Solid Slider Wires
Here are compatible perlon clear wires and steel wires which can be connected only from rail end.
Automatic Hooks
The Automatic hooks are great for hanging artwork and pictures between 10kg and 20kg. They are super speedy to use. That’s especially useful if you are frequently changing your wall art using a picture hanging system. To unlock just press the top of the hooks. On release, they stay firmly in place.
Manual Hooks
The Manual hooks are easy to use. Turn the screw counter-clockwise to move a hook along the wire up or down. Then tighten it back to lock them in place. They happily take between 2kg and 10kg of weight. You can use one hook or several per wire. Rearrange your display easily whenever you want.
