Heavy-Duty Flush Wall Mounting

With a slim 6mm projection, the Boston Z-bar system holds items virtually flush against the wall while providing up to 25kg of load capacity. The interlocking Z-shape prevents sagging or accidental dislodging, making it far superior to single-point picture wire or saw-tooth hangers.

Pre-Drilled & Custom Pairable

Each 50mm rail comes pre-drilled with two 6mm countersunk holes for fast alignment and fixing. Because these cleats are sold individually, you can mix and match shorter or longer METALCITI Z-bars across the top edge of wider panels or heavy mirrors to achieve a perfectly level, balanced hold.

Ideal for plasterboard, stud walls, masonry, and timber backings. Use this French cleat system to invisibly mount heavy artwork, headboards, TV wall brackets, feature panels, and commercial displays.

Installation & Weight Capacity Guidelines

Mount one Z-bar rail facing upward on the wall and attach the matching Z-bar facing downward on the back of your frame or panel. Slide the panel down until the two rails interlock securely.

Important Safety Note: The 25kg capacity refers strictly to the structural limit of the aluminium rail itself. Always ensure your chosen wall plugs, screws, and substrate (plasterboard vs masonry) can safely support the combined weight of your item. Application Examples

These are just examples of how you could combine the lengths; they are not a list of what you will receive. You can mix and match rails of different lengths as you like, such as one 600mm rail on the wall and three 50mm rails on the item, or a 900mm rail on the wall with a 900mm rail on the item, or a 1200mm rail on the wall and two 300mm rails on the item. The only requirement is that all pieces must be the same profile (e.g., Boston).
