Click Rail Hanging System
360 Product Overview
The Click Rail is a popular, straightforward system for hanging pictures without damaging your walls. It offers a permanent, discreet solution that lets you easily rearrange your artwork whenever you like. The system is built around a slim aluminium rail mounted on the wall, usually near the ceiling.
Choosing Artiteq Click Rail hanging system provides a professional and versatile way to manage wall decor without the recurring damage of nails or screws. Once the rail is installed, you gain the freedom to rearrange, add, or remove artwork at any time without leaving unsightly holes or requiring wall repairs. The design focuses on a minimalist aesthetic allowing the rail to blend seamlessly into the architecture of a room. Click Rail in pure white is also paintable to match the exact colour of your walls and maintain a clean, uninterrupted look.
How the Rail is Installed
The installation process is easy, which is why it’s called the “Click Rail.” First, small mounting brackets are screwed directly into the wall at measured intervals. Once the brackets are secure, the aluminium rail is simply pressed onto them until it snaps, or “clicks,” into place. This method conceals all the mounting hardware inside the rail, and offers a very clean, finished look.
How the System is Used
Once the rail is installed, you don’t need any more tools to hang or move your pictures. To hang a piece of art, you first insert the top fitting of a hanging wire (like a Twister fitting) into the channel on the underside of the rail. With some fittings, you push them in and give a quarter-turn to lock them securely. You can insert this wire at any point along the rail’s length.
Next, you attach an adjustable hook to the hanging wire. You can slide this hook up or down the wire to set the perfect height for your frame. The hook then attaches to the back of your picture frame (usually to a D-ring or eyelet).
Because the wire can slide along the rail and the hook can slide up and down the wire, you have complete flexibility. You can move pictures horizontally, adjust their height, or add new pictures simply by adding another wire—all without ever drilling a new hole in your wall.
Rails/Tracks
The Click Rail is available in four colours and two lengths. Pure white is a very clean, bright, cool-toned white, offering a modern, flat, and crisp finish ideal for making spaces feel fresh and open. Classic white is often referred as off-white or traffic white. It is a popular, clean, slightly warm pale white often used because of its versatility on interior and exterior surfaces, woodwork, vehicles, and fibreglass. It offers a bright but not stark white that pairs well with many other colours.
Installation Brackets
Use three brackets per metre spaced out roughly 40cm apart. Standard grip for fairly even walls, extra grip for uneven walls. Please use extra grip brackets with caution. Unlike the standard grip brackets, the extra grip ones are very hard to unclick (to remove the rail). Standard grip installation brackets are usually included with the rail as they are required for installation. Screw and plug installation set is optional.
Twister Wires and Rods
Here are compatible perlon clear wires, steel wires, steel rods which can be connected anywhere along the rail.
Hexagon and Solid Slider Wires
Here are compatible perlon clear wires and steel wires which can be connected only from rail end.
Automatic Hooks
The Automatic hooks are great for hanging artwork and pictures between 10kg and 20kg. They are super speedy to use. That’s especially useful if you are frequently changing your wall art using a picture hanging system. To unlock just press the top of the hooks. On release, they stay firmly in place.
Manual Hooks
The Manual hooks are easy to use. Turn the screw counter-clockwise to move a hook along the wire up or down. Then tighten it back to lock them in place. They happily take between 2kg and 10kg of weight. You can use one hook or several per wire. Rearrange your display easily whenever you want.
