For a medium-duty solution to hang or attach items, you’ll find screw eyes incredibly versatile. If you’re working with timber, you simply need to screw the eye directly into the wood until it’s firmly seated. For masonry, like brick or concrete, you’ll first need to drill a pilot hole. Make sure the drill bit matches the size of the wall plug you’re using. Once the hole is drilled, insert the wall plug flush with the surface of the masonry. Then, you can screw the eye into the plug, and it will expand, creating a secure anchor point for hanging or attaching your items.
