ARTITEQ Classic Rail 200cm pure white
The ARTITEQ Classic Rail is a wall-mounted picture hanging system frequently chosen by smaller to medium-sized galleries and art exhibitions due to its effective and straightforward design. Its distinctive open J-shaped profile allows for the easy insertion of hanging rods and sliding spring mechanisms. These components then enable the flexible and adjustable suspension of pictures and artwork along the rail’s length. For a more visually subtle hanging method, the system also accommodates near-invisible transparent perlon wires paired with discreet cylinder hooks. This versatility allows users to select the most appropriate hanging hardware based on the desired aesthetic and the weight of the artwork being displayed, ensuring both secure and adaptable presentation.

How to install
Installing the Classic Rail involves screwing the rail directly into the wall through its pre-drilled mounting holes rather than using clip-on brackets. Start by placing a spirit level along the wall at your desired height to draw a straight, horizontal guideline. Hold the J-shaped aluminium rail against this line and mark the drilling spots directly through the pre-drilled holes in the back flange, which are typically spaced about 50 cm apart. Drill holes at each marked location using a 6 mm masonry bit, then press wall plugs firmly into the holes until flush with the plaster or drywall. Position the rail back over the plugs, insert the screws directly through the pre-drilled holes, and tighten them until the rail sits securely flat against the wall. Finish the setup by fitting plastic end caps onto both open ends of the track to cover the sharp cut edges. You can then drop S-hooks, J-hooks, or specialised rods directly into the top open channel of the rail to hang your artwork.
