ARTITEQ Heavy Brass Hook 2mm (7kg, Pack of 1)

The Heavy Brass Hook is a solid brass, manually adjustable hook designed for hanging framed art, mirrors, or wall decor using picture hanging systems. It is compatible with 2mm perlon (transparent nylon) and steel wires. If your artwork weighs between 7 kg and 14 kg, you can distribute the weight evenly by using two hooks on two separate wires attached to the same frame.

How to Use

The hook must be used in conjunction with a tracking rail and a compatible hanging wire.

1) Thread the hook onto the wire
Loosen the knurled thumb screw on the side of the hook by turning it counterclockwise.
Insert the bottom end of your 2mm perlon or steel cable through the vertical hole in the centre of the hook.

2) Adjust to the desired height
Slide the hook up or down along the wire to your preferred position.

3) Lock the hook in place
Tighten the thumb screw securely by turning it clockwise.
Ensure it is tightened by hand to securely clamp the wire inside the hook mechanism.

4) Test the hold and hang the artwork
Apply a small amount of downward pressure on the hook to ensure it does not slip on the wire.
Once stable, loop the hanging wire or bracket of your picture frame over the front hook.
