Camden Moulding Hook Loop Hanging Set for Victorian Picture Rails (Pack of 8)

Camden Moulding Hook Loop Hanging Set

The Camden Moulding Hook Loop Hanging Set provides a flexible, complete picture hanging system designed for traditional Victorian wooden picture rails, dado rails, and partition walls. Each package contains eight heavy-duty steel moulding hooks, eight 150 cm transparent perlon loop wires (2 mm diameter), eight Loop Maker wire clamps, and a dedicated Allen key. The system uses clear perlon cables featuring a pre-formed 5 cm top loop that rests securely over the moulding hook for a clean, discreet vertical drop down your wall.

What’s Included

8 x Moulding Hooks
8 x Loop Hanging Perlon Wires 150 cm 20 kg
8 x Loop Maker Wire Clamps 5 kg
1 x Allen Key

Installation requires no drilling, screws, or permanent wall fixings. By utilizing the included Loop Maker wire clamps, you can easily form an adjustable custom loop at the bottom end of the perlon wire. This allows you to attach artwork directly to frame D-rings or crossbars without needing conventional picture hooks attached to the wire. While the clear 2 mm perlon hanging wire supports up to 20 kg, each Loop Maker clamp holds up to 5 kg per picture, making it an ideal choice for hanging multiple smaller frames vertically or securing artwork safely without damaging your walls.

Key features

• Damage-Free Installation: Hooks slip directly onto your traditional Victorian picture rail profile without drilling or screws.
• Custom Bottom Loops: Included Loop Maker wire clamps allow you to create custom bottom loops to hook directly onto frame hardware.
• Discrete Clear Cable: Transparent 2 mm perlon wire creates a subtle, gallery-style vertical drop against your wall.
• Complete 8-Piece Bulk Pack: Comes with 8 moulding hooks, 8 perlon wires, 8 Loop Maker clamps, and a matching Allen key.
• Solid Steel Moulding Hooks: Heavy-duty steel hooks resist bending (available in 12 kg and 20 kg rail profile capacities).

How to use the Loop Maker wire clamp

1. Prepare the Hardware: Use the included 2 mm Allen key to loosen the internal locking bolt inside the Loop Maker clamp body until both internal channels are completely clear.
2. Thread the Cable: Feed the plain end of your 2 mm perlon wire through the first channel of the metal clamp body, pulling through enough wire to form your loop.
3. Form the Loop: Pass the wire end around your frame fixture (such as a D-ring or bracket) and feed the tail back through the second channel in the clamp body.
4. Secure and Tighten: Adjust the loop to your exact desired height and size, then use the Allen key to firmly tighten the locking bolt until the wire is clamped securely inside the block.

Always test the custom loop by applying firm manual tension before hanging your frame onto the rail system.
